Deadly crash kills at least one on US-41 near San Carlos Park

A deadly crash closed all northbound lanes of US-41 in south Lee County on Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 3 a.m. near San Carlos Boulevard at Whispering Pines Way in San Carlos Park. We know at least one person was killed in the crash; however, further details have not been released. All northbound lanes of US-41 have since reopened.
