In this episode of Mirror Metro, the host Shreya Dhoundial will be discussing how In a setback for Google, the Supreme Court on Thursday turned down the company's appeal of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal's (NCLAT) decision to deny an interim stay of the Rs 1,338 billion fine against it. The Supreme Court ordered NCLAT to rule by March 31 on Google's appeal of the competition regulator's decision imposing a fine of Rs. 1338 crore. Additionally, the court gave Google seven days to pay 10% of the fine levied by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). In the beginning, Google appealed the CCI order to the NCLAT. We are joined by a few panelists to express their views on this issue. “The competition Act is there and the CCI is there to regulate it. It is like throttling competition and it'll have repercussions across the globe," says Swapnil Kothari, Senior Lawyer #SupremeCourt #NCLAT #Google #CCI #MirrorMetro SUBSCRIBE NOW | https://bit.ly/SubscribeToMirrorNow For More Updates ► http://www.mirrornownews.com Like us on Facebook ► / mirrornow Follow us on Twitter ► / mirrornow Follow us on Instagram ► / mirrornow_in Subscribe to our other network channels: Times Now Navbharat: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToTNNavbharat Zoom: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToZoom Times Now: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToTimesNow ET Now: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToETNow TN+: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToTNPlus Pushed via Slike
