I really like this unit ALOT. It has so many wonderful features, I don't even really know where to begin! Then again, I could just start with the name of the unit, because that itself says quite a bit: The Pyle PLDN74BT Headunit Receiver 7-Inch Stereo Radio, Bluetooth, CD/DVD Player, Touch Screen, Double DIN (Amazon left out all of the good stuff written on the box!). First, the last time I installed a radio was when CD players were just being released as the 'norm.' So I was a little nervous with this one. Especially with it being all "high-tech" for me. Yet- installation was a breeze! This actually surprised me quite a bit considering that I was installing this unit in a 1992 minivan! I never imagined technology as advanced as this would be so easy to install, and even better: properly function! Like every one else whose reviewed this item says (for the most part), the built in mic is an excellent benefit. The ability to install a rearview camera is awesome. The ability to control every aspect of it via Bluetooth is amazing. But for me- the BEST part about it is that the van I installed it in is primarily used for camping, so just the idea that we can watch DVD's on it deserves an "Amen!" And also, that I can actually see the trees that I'm about to hit before I back into them takes the cake! Anyway- I wanted to know exactly what I was getting into before I even opened the box. After viewing well over a dozen videos, I finally just went and figured it out for myself, and from there, decided to do my own video review that was all-inclusive (from unboxing to tinkering with it post-install). I figured this would be especially helpful to others other there (at least I hope so). Plus it speaks to "girl-power," because I did it ALL, every little step of it, on MY OWN :) That, and I was offered a discount to purchase this receiver in exchange for my honest and unbiased review- and what better way than to film it! I don't want to be a spoil-sport and ruin my 'movie,' so I'm just going to leave it at this: After the blood, sweat, and tears I've vested in this unit, the fact that I STILL rate it five stars WITH my highest recommendation says ALOT!
