Are You Daily Living as Salt & Light for Jesus Christ? Matthew 5:1-16

If we Christians are "salt & light" because we have been saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, why then is our salt and light not seen more often in our daily lives? Why are so many Christians "hiding" their "salt & light"? It truly is a wonderful thing to see believers living out a powerful life and witness for Jesus! But, it is so terribly sad when they are not. This message begins in Matthew 5 where Jesus is starting His Sermon on the Mount. He teaches the beatitudes.....then immediately tells those that are listening, those that are believers, that they need to live this way because they are the salt and light to their own generation. The same is true for every generation of believers. If you are a follower of Christ, are you daily living as "salt & light" for Jesus?
