Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my favorite meeting: the Pulse Meeting. It’s how we keep our content and advertising clients moving forward every month. Let me show you how it works. First up today is Pool Envy. We manage their Google Ads, so we’re catching up with Jason on their latest business updates, reviewing last month’s analytics, and tweaking active campaigns. Our Pulse Meetings are inspired by the EOS L10 framework. Here’s the agenda we use: We start with personal remarks and Headlines—where we get updates on what’s happening in the client’s business. The better we understand their world, the better we can craft relevant marketing ideas. For example, while meeting with Rob from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, we learned about a recent project at the Ada Hotel. That sparked a few video ideas to highlight their work. Next is the Scorecard. This is where we track KPIs, monthly goals, and results using a simple spreadsheet. We define success upfront and monitor progress month-to-month. Finally, we tackle challenges using the IDS framework—Identify, Discuss, Solve. By the end, Haley locks in next month’s meeting, action items are assigned, and we’re ready to execute. With a solid plan in place, we get to enjoy the work we're doing and have confidence that it's driving us in the ideal direction.  Tonight, Ellen and I are heading to Garrett’s for beers and then to Van Andel Aren for a Griffins hockey game with the crew.
