Keir Starmer and Boris Johnson have taken part in a heated exchange during this week’s Prime Minister’s Questions, following his apology over a lockdown-breaking party which he attended. Calls are now mounting for the PM to resign after he admitted to attending the illegal party in the garden of No 10 during the height of the first lockdown. Although Mr Johnson apologised to the British public for his actions, he tried to lessen the blow by claiming he had mistakenly taken the gathering for a “work event”.
