Training Patients For Peritoneal Dialysis

Patients needing peritoneal dialysis have to be trained so that they know how their treatment works. As Carlene McLean from the Scarborough Health Network explains, training for her patients involves a little bit more than simply handing them a pamphlet! Instead, she demonstrates the process for the patient and their family members in a hospital setting.
