A Day At Sea With African Watersports & Our Fearless Leader, Walter Bernardis!

Shark Diving on Aliwal Shoal, with African Watersports. On this day, from the beach of the launch site in Umkomaas, KZN, South Africa, sea conditions looked muddy & brown. With Skipper Andrew, we headed through the surf zone. The boat ride out to the Aliwal Shoal was a bumpy one! But with Crew as experienced as ours, off we went to scout for Sharks! Crystal clear visibility and a ton of Oceanic Black Tip Sharks met us in our home away from home, underwater! Walter Bernardis, our Fearless Leader, lead the way, showing everyone that Jaws was just a movie! Using Tonic Immobility, he helped a Shark with a hook or two from a fisherman nearby.
