2008 Emerald Bowl (Miami v California) One Hour

Two teams that have become accustomed to bowl games get together in the City by the Bay for the 8th Annual Emerald Bowl. In making its sixth straight bowl appearance, the Cal Bears get to travel about 8 miles to celebrate a season that had more hopes than results. Jahvid Best leads the Cal offense against a Miami Hurricane defense that had trouble stopping the run. Miami traveled over 3,000 miles to get here but after not attending a bowl game last year, they’ll take it. It’s the 23rd bowl game in 26 yeaars for the Hurricanes, who are trying for their 9th win. The fog has stayed away so sit back, relax, and enjoy the only bowl game where both teams stand on one sideline.
