Community Responses to Cannabis Legalization

Currently, (2022), more than half of the US population now live in states where medical or adult-use of cannabis is allowed. As the legal landscape evolves in our own states, prevention practitioners have a role to play in addressing youth cannabis use. Gisela Rots, preventionist and nationally known speaker, will provide an overview of the research and describe how prevention can play a key role in empowering communities to address these changes, including suggestions for navigating different values and perspectives as it relates to cannabis.
