Kristina Keneally would be a ‘disaster’ for Australia: Peter Dutton

Defence Minister Peter Dutton says Labor Senator Kristina Keneally “doesn’t have a clue” about Australia’s potential conflict in the next few years. It comes after the government announced it will fast-track the development of hypersonic long-range missiles as part of a new agreement with the United States and United Kingdom. Ms Keneally said Mr Dutton’s remarks about potential conflict coming to Australia were “inflammatory”. “It’s embarrassing, actually, for Anthony Albanese; he doesn’t know who his national security team will be,” Mr Dutton tells Sky News Australia. He added that Ms Keneally would be a “disaster” for Australia. The defence minister expresses his worries over China possibly being emboldened by the current situation in Ukraine rather than being dissuaded from the course undertaken.
