Holy Week & Easter at St. Andrew 2024

We hope you’ll join us for our Maundy Thursday service on March 28th at 7:30 pm – this a reflective service in reverence to the Last Supper that includes Communion and a hand washing ritual. Our Good Friday service on March 29th, also at 7:30 pm, is a classic Tenebrae service including readings and special music. Then on Saturday, March 30th at 7:30 pm, we will hold an outdoor Easter Vigil. The Youth kick off our Easter celebrations with their annual outdoor sunrise service led by the youth leadership team and featuring music by our youth choir. Then in the sanctuary we will have three services at 8, 9:30 and 11 am – all will be identical including full orchestra and choir and will be streamed by our amazing AV Production team. From 7:30 am – 12:30 pm, we’ll have a photo booth to capture your family photos. During our 9:30 and 11 am services, Kids Ministry is planning an exciting morning to celebrate the resurrection in our Kid’s Ministry area. We will also offer a Relaxed Worship Experience available for anyone who would like room to move around, enjoy juice, coffee, and pastries. The Relaxed Worship Experience has all the traditional elements including singing the Hallelujah Chorus at the end of the service. Many of you may prefer this to the more formal sanctuary experience. On Easter, we have the privilege to be a welcoming and loving space for everyone that joins us. We invite St. Andrew regulars to consider worshipping with us at the 8 am service to allow space for others at our 9:30 and 11 am services. Remember to help our ushers by filling up the front pews first, to leave space in the back for late arrivals. Finally, we invite everyone to bring fresh flowers to add to our Living Cross on Easter Sunday.
