Two More Massive Earthquakes Strike the Philippines Triggering Tsunami Warnings

A 7.4-magnitude earthquake off the southern Philippines killed an unknown number of people, damaged a hospital and schools, knocked out power and prompted evacuations of coastal areas nearby due to a tsunami warning, which was later lifted. A second, magnitude 6.9 earthquake followed later in the day.
