Russia is "going according to plan," as the Russian dictator constantly boasts, and the demolition of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters building, destroyed by Ukrainian missiles, was apparently also part of this "plan." This was stated live on the Freedom television channel by Dmitry Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Naval Forces. According to him, since the beginning of the occupation of Crimea in 2014, Russia has invested heavily in the development of military infrastructure on the peninsula. "The Russians began restoring many facilities that had been practically abandoned since the collapse of the USSR. These included barracks, warehouses, and many other elements of this infrastructure. In other words, after 2014, they essentially began preparing for their next move—a full-scale invasion," Pletenchuk noted. He noted that the Russians built the Crimean Bridge and used it, among other things, as a logistical tool to support an invasion from the south. “But they didn’t expect that, for example, maritime logistics, those same ferries, the large landing ships that they brought into the Black Sea before the full-scale invasion—an additional six units, that is, essentially the same number as were there—that this component could become incapable of combat,” the Navy spokesman said. Pletenchuk emphasized that Crimea, as a military installation, is of great importance. According to him, Russia constantly launches missiles at Ukraine from the peninsula. However, ships from Crimea no longer sail to the Black Sea: those docked in ports off the peninsula's coast are damaged or are being used as support vessels. "There are ships and vessels there, but they don't pose any threat or particular interest to us right now, because the only units that could actually participate in a full-scale invasion are cruise missile carriers. But their numbers are also steadily declining. There are only two submarines left, compared to the standard six. Two have already been destroyed during the full-scale invasion, which, of course, is quite painful for the Russians, considering that such incidents haven't occurred with them since the end of World War II. And, of course, there are five surface ships, including two frigates, each with eight launchers. These are the units that remain such an important target," the guest said. He emphasized that war at sea is technological in nature; it's not a land battlefield where Russian troops can "massively assault" Ukrainian positions and seize territory. At sea, the one with the best technology has the advantage, and Russia lags behind Ukraine in this regard. In this case a Russian reconnaissance vessel, the Ivan Khurs, has been spotted in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, showing significant damage following reported strikes, according to the partisan movement Crimean Wind. “Scouts photographed the medium reconnaissance ship ‘Ivan Khurs’ of Project 18280 in Sevastopol, moored at a pier in Holland Bay,” the group said in a statement. According to the report, visible damage includes part of the captain’s bridge being destroyed, structural damage to the ship’s funnel, and a mast—previously carrying antenna systems—now surrounded by construction scaffolding. Equipment normally installed at the stern appears to be missing, while the forward deck has reportedly been covered with camouflage netting. The Ivan Khurs is a Russian medium reconnaissance ship designed for operations in both maritime and ocean zones. It is the first production vessel of Project 18280 and one of only two ships built under the program. Earlier, for the first time, a Russian military court officially acknowledged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were responsible for the destruction of the Moskva cruiser—a major milestone in establishing accountability for one of the most high-profile naval losses of the war. http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join - click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalism http://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13a... https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19Fdy Click here and just subscribe to Kanal13 - https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13a... https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join *ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp ▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/ / tvkanal13 / kanal13az / kanal13.az Click & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel © KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of Azerbaijan
