One year later, Las Vegas remembers deadliest mass shooting in modern history

1.     It’s the one-year anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history It's been one year since a gunman opened fire on a crowd of 22-thousand people at a country music festival in Las Vegas. Fifty-eight people were killed. Another 413 were wounded. Video from that night captured music fans ducking for cover and running away. The gunman took his own life. Today a sunrise ceremony honored the lives lost. Survivors, victims' family members, first responders and elected officials offered speeches and prayers. A lot of questions still remain after the shooting....a final f-b-i report on the gunman -- Stephen Paddock is expected by year-end.  2.      Companies headquartered in California can no longer have all-male corporate boards. A new law enacted Sunday requires all publicly traded firms in the state to have at least one woman on their board of directors by the end of 2019. It's the first law of its kind in the U.S. Some Eurpoean countries have similar laws. 3.      How to protect your Facebook data Some people are wondering how to protect their data after Facebook announced last week that 50 million users were affected by a breach. A tip to keep your account secure: check to see what devices have logged into your profile. You can do it by heading to the security page, then navigating to the "where you've logged in" option. If you see an unfamiliar gadget or an odd location, you can hit the "remove" button to boot it out.  4.     Snapchat wants you to shop more             Snapchat is rolling out a new feature to get you to buy more stuff.  Soon you'll see new ads called "collections" pop up between stories and in the "discover" section.
