Can’t really believe that I’m writing this description right now, yet here we are. I actually did something this hard, never thought I would. I actually attempted this level back about a year ago last summer, for my 5th extreme. However, this level was hard, and way out of my skill range, so after like 4k attempts of learning it and playing it, I dropped it due to it being too hard. Cut to last weekend, Aeonair suggests everyone to try and beat at least one memory level for the month of May, and my brain goes “hey, I already learned all of MPT, why not just do that?” I almost didn’t do it, but then Thanatophobia got demoted to insane, and I only had 8 extremes(I wanted SPEEDRUN to be my 10th extreme), so I thought “why not, SPEEDRUN will still be my hardest anyway, it just won’t be a jump from Napalm). So, that Friday, my grind of Maybe Possibly Thing started. I actually remembered everything and caught on very quickly, getting 36-100 and 59 on the first day back of playing. I continued the trend by getting 85 the next day. Then came Sunday. This day is marked as one of the most painful days in my GD career, as I played that level for 3 straight hours with only one break to eat. I died at the last 20% who knows how many times, I don’t even want to count. But regardless, I did it. And it feels really good. I’ll give my opinion on the level now, since obviously I should do that. 0-11%: This part is very straightforward, easy memory, easy gameplay and very consistent. 11-28%: Wow, this part is something. The memory is straightforward, the gameplay however, it a bit weird. The wave spam at 15 is very confusing because the bottom spikes are fake, so it looks way tighter than it is. The wave transition/spam at 18 is also a bit weird, since you do not immediately turn big. The first ufo click at 20 is also a bit weird, since you have to immediately click or you will get killed by the ground spike that just flies up under you. Other than that, the part is relatively consistent. 28-43%: This part seems very intimidating, however it's very straightforward and easy to learn. Consistent once you get the hang of it. 43-55%: It's a bossfight. Need I say more. 55-61%: this part was one of the hardest for me. The 57 wave is so hard, and then you follow it up with a firework level yellow orb click. Not to mention the yellow orb click is dependent on the transition out of the wave. Rest is very straightforward though. 61-80%: Another bossfight. Only difference is it’s a lot more learny, but that’s bossfights for you. 80-100%: this is the hardest part for me. The click at 82 is a bit weird, as you can die to it in various ways as you see in the video. The wave spam at 84 actually just felt luck based, sometimes you passed it sometimes you didn’t, if you died you just cope. Wave at 88 is quite tricky as well, however it gets consistent. Everything else is fine. Last straight fly is a normal straight fly, yet somehow I died 3 times. Don’t question it. Overall however, I enjoyed this level quite a bit. It's not perfect, but it’s very fun nonetheless.
