Threatened Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse faces changing landscape

The rare and federally threatened species of wild mouse is found only in parts of Colorado and Wyoming. Human development and commercial spaces have eaten into the Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse's natural habitat, now the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is attempting to survey the remaining population.
