This year on Chesapeake Shores you will find even more drama, comedy and romance - which is reflected in the breathtaking locations you'll see on your TV screen too. I took this video at the end of a day of filming at Jess' B & B. We had been shooting outside all day until a massive wind and rain storm suddenly came up and we had to quickly pick up camera equipment and move inside. We had been shooting tense mother/daughter scenes between Megan and Jess, so the weather seemed to fit the mood. Interesting how that happened, how the storm inside was being reflected in the storm outside. After I got back to the hotel, the power was out for another five hours. I sat inside alone in the dark, wrapped up in a blanket with the door open so I could look out at the raindrops glistening in the starlight. Listening to the fierce crashing of the waves I got goosebumps. I sat there marveling, witnessing the power and greatness of God... and felt utterly content and safe and blessed. Nature does have a way of putting life into perspective doesn't it? 🙏❤️
