They saw Lazaravic heading for the Tree, knowing about the Black teeth in the Guardians and Bodies found in Borneo that they Ate the Resin and Change them somehow. We're also surprised by Harry who got Gravely Injured by Lazaravic's Antics, he's clever than he looks, Elena wants to help him but Harry tells them that "this isn't a Movie and your not the Plucky girl that Reforms the Villian and Saves the Day, it doesn't done like that", saying that before he blow himself up with a Frag Granade. Elena was injured by the Blast, Nate makes to the Checkpoint to wipe out most of Lazaravic's Men while Chloe picks Elena up. After which, Nate plans to Stop Lazaravic and End the Tree of Life, Chloe knows it's Suicide but he has to, we're almost to the End.
