Members sailing our two Squibs and a Soling. The weather in the week was a mixed bag and kept changing. If in doubt, turn up and see what the weather is. As it happens it turned out to be a grand day's sailing. The day before the forecasts were F4-5. When we arrived it was a fresh morning with the a strong F4. We went ahead and rigged and launched and the wind was a steady F4 and no rain. Let's go sailing! Sisters Naomi and Sarah Clark joined us for their first sail on Squib Satyr. Chris jumped aboard Squib Lift Off with Mike and John and Dave sailed Soling Time Flies. A good chance for us all to enjoy a sail and very pleasant sailing conditions with the lake virtually to ourselves - At one stage we counted just four other boats and the Rutland Belle. Just another day in paradise.
