Gruesome - Live At The Full Terror Assault Fest Cave In Rock, Il. 09/11/2015

If you don't know who Gruesome are by now and you're a death metal fan, then now is the time to take notice!!! I am not gonna sit here and write a history report on these guys, but let it be known to the few of you that have been living under a rock that they're led by the legend Matt Harvey (Dekapitator, Exhumed and the countless other bands he's been in at one time or another) on guitar/vocals, Robin Mazen (Derketa, plus others) on bass, Daniel Gonzalez (Possessed, Master, plus others) on guitar and Gus Rios (Murder Suicide, Malevolent Creation, plus others) on drums. Gruesome make no bones about it, they play death metal in honor of Chuck Schuldiner (R.I.P.) and his classic death metal band Death. This was a great show and includes some treats. Terry Butler (Death, Massacre, Six Feet Under, Obituary, plus others) steps in on bass during a Death classic that I will force you to watch to reveal the title yourself! Gruesome even pulled out a fantastic Slayer classic and did it well! Overall, a great band live and I am looking forward to seeing them again at MDF 2016!
