(29 Sep 2017) More than a month after terrified refugees from Myanmar began pouring into Bangladesh en masse to escape the latest explosion of anti-Muslim violence in their homeland, the United Nations says the total number of new arrivals has topped more than half-a-million for the first time. And still, they keep coming. On Friday more than 2,000 came ashore at Teknaf, many of them women and children, some of them too exhausted or sick to make it off the boats under their own power.
