Hi, I’m Professor Ebikeme, and I’m honored to introduce you to JouRNey Light! In 2018, God planted a vision in my heart to make the nursing journey easier—lighter—for those stepping into this incredible profession. For me, light signifies the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which has been my source of knowledge, strength, wisdom, and purpose throughout my journey. With 14 years of bedside ICU experience across 8 states and 14 cities, 9 years in academia—helping students & raising NCLEX pass rates from 70% to 95%—and leadership roles in nursing education, I have been blessed to serve by onboarding and training hundreds of novice educators, establishing affiliation agreements, developing curricula, and improving student persistence and outcomes. As a content expert, my mission is deeply rooted in faith: to empower, educate, and guide nursing students, novice educators, and new grads to success—helping them step into their God-given purpose and excel in their calling.
