Ocean Decade in Brazil - English subtitle

It's official. We are in the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development in Brazil. Honoring our blue planet, the official video for the Decade of the Ocean was produced by Rare Brasil in partnership with Unesco Brasil. With the narration of Mateus Solano, the video shows the threats and the importance of preserving this precious and priceless asset. In the next ten years, the world turns its attention to what is vital in our existence: the Ocean. The idea is to mobilize scientists, managers, politicians and the society to protect the ocean, which, despite covering 71% of the planet Earth's surface, is still little known and conserved. Actions for the health and sustainability of the Ocean will be discussed and taken throughout this decade, in order to guarantee the well-being of the seas and humanity. Ocean is life.
