Welcome to another exciting DIY project on my channel! ⚙️ Type 1 – Mini Angle Grinder In the first type, I show a simple and compact mini grinder design using a high-speed 775 DC motor, which is popular in many DIY projects. It offers great torque and RPM, making it perfect for cutting and grinding small materials. The motor is mounted inside a homemade body made from PVC pipe or any strong plastic housing. After that, I attach a small cutting disc using a metal shaft + nut system. This version is very easy to make and perfect for beginners. It runs smoothly at high speed, requires very few components, and is lightweight enough to be used with one hand. You can connect it to a 12V–24V DC power supply depending on how much power you need. ⚙️ Type 2 – Powerful Mini Angle Grinder The second type is a more powerful and advanced version. Here I use a stronger motor and a more stable housing design. This grinder is suitable for heavier tasks and provides a professional feel even though it is fully homemade. The grip and balance of this version are excellent, allowing you to cut metal rods, aluminum pieces, bolts, screws, and even thicker plastic easily. 🛠️ Materials Used in This Project: 775 DC Motor / High-torque DC Motor PVC Pipe / Plastic Housing Metal Shaft & Nut Small Cutting/Grinding Disc Switch Wires Hot glue / Super glue Screws Drill machine Power supply All materials used are easy to find in the local market or online at very low cost. 📌 Important Safety Tips Safety should always be your first priority when working with cutting or grinding tools. Make sure to: Wear safety glasses Keep fingers away from the spinning disc Use gloves Ensure disc is tightly fitted Never overload the motor 🧪 Performance Test In the video, I test both mini angle grinders on different materials such as plastic, wood, aluminum, and metal.
