Bank of Scotland £5 Polymer Banknote Competition

In 2015, Bank of Scotland ran a competition for children across Scotland to design a new £5 polymer banknote. They had to depict what BBC Children in Need means to them in their design. Over 4,500 entries were received and it was Kayla Robson’s outstanding design that won. Only 50 of the polymer banknotes have been made and have been auctioned to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
