Vinnie Jones' wife Tanya dies after a six year battle with skin cancer

Tanya Jones, the wife of British actor and former professional footballer Vinnie Jones, has died after a six-year battle with cancer, his spokesman said. The hardman action star was at her bedside as her condition deteriorated, with news of the 53-year-old's death from skin cancer described as "heartbreaking" by Jones' spokesman. "Tanya passed peacefully at the Jones family home surrounded by Vinnie, their daughter and other family members", he told British newspaper The Sun. Back in 2013 the former Chelsea player revealed both he and Tanya were suffering from melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer.
