Vivaldi/Bach: Concerto in d Minor, BWV 596 - Wim Winters - Contiusorgel, Leuven (B)

The Vivaldi D Minor concerto is one of the famous Vivaldi transcriptions J.S.Bach made for organ. The transcription has - for those days - an unseen level of difficulty: two completely individual voices, left/right hand at the beginning, a fugue with regular thirds, a last movements with parallel sixths, and so on. The effect on organ this piece makes simply is astonishing. Bach shows here the master he was over his instrument. Want the famous Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565 on this organ? I recently made a practicing session, which is available on Patreon.
