Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts - Stage 6 Speedrun Strategy Comparison

I got to thinking that using 3 dragon magics to get past the Red Arremers HAD to be slower than just one... right? So I did some practicing and found a strat that I could replicate to herd the first 2 and then dodged the last one. Turns out its barely faster by almost a second (54 ms to be specific). So is it worth the precision of trying to get this trick pulled off, and the risk you take in bargaining with the Arremers? Maybe not. Its entirely possible that I am a big dummy and I'm doing something wrong here, but I guess I'll go back to the safe strat even though the 1 Dragon looks cool.
