Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have released a special cover edition of Empire Magazine in preparation for their Amazon Prime Video TV series. JD Payne and Patrick McKay are the showrunners who have now repeated lines similar to Peter Jackson with regards to respecting Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. But the director J.A. Bayona thinks they're not making Television, they're inventing a new form of entertainment with Rings of Power.
