Moped rider in critical condition after crash in east Las Vegas valley
A moped rider is recovering in the hospital with critical injuries after a crash around 8 p.m. near Russell and Pecos roads, police say. Pecos is closed in both directions. Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Impairment does not appear to be a factor, according to authorities.
