GAVASKAR BACKS IYER AT NO. 4 IN ODIs

Former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar believes Shreyas Iyer is better suited for the number four spot in ODIs than Rishabh Pant and should be given a permanent slot in the Indian middle-order. Coming into the team after a year, Iyer, who had a couple of fifties to his name, played a crucial role in India’s 59-run win over the West Indies in the second ODI at Port-of-Spain.
