This used to be the very first Garage Sale Toy Finds Trailer. It basically shows my Transformers collection as of October 2018. The video title has been changed as part of the #TFxM project (#TransformersXMusic). This was the previous description: Here’s my story. Some parts of it some of you can probably relate to. Saw the G1 cartoons as a kid. Family didn’t have money to buy the toys. But I wanted to have the toys! Prime, Bumblebee, Soundwave and the cassettes, Mirage, Jazz at least. Sometime in 1988 my mom went on a trip to Japan and finally got me and my brother Skywarp (or maybe it was Thrust), Grapple, Kup and the Gobots’ Leader-1. Basically not the toys I was looking for but maybe they were the cheap ones that time. Then parents “encouraged” me to focus on studies. I did. Fast forward to 2003: my friends wonder why I never saw Transformers the Movie! So I looked for it and watched it finally. Unlike my friends though who watched it when they were young, I didn’t cry when OP died. Fast forward to 2007: I was so excited about TF the first Bay movie. Loved it. Heard about the toys. With my 3rd world income, I thought I can’t afford it. (So yeah, I totally missed G2, Beast Wars, RID 1.0, the Unicron trilogy, and Animated etc.) Fast forward to April 2018: I’m now based in Canada. Saw a garage sale ad saying they’re selling Transformers toys from the 80’s. I grabbed the whole lot (2 boxes) for cheap. Been looking for similar deals since then. You can call me El Cheap-O. I am fine with secondhand. I have now one MP that I got secondhand. But along the way I did give in to the temptation to buy new stuff - from Walmart, Amazon, Toys R Us, MISB/MOC from people on Facebook, Kijiji (Canadian online classifieds). Later in 2018, my 6 year old and I are sharing the same passion for Transformers. We’re catchig up on TFP, RID 2.0 and even Rescue Bots on Netflix. And made sure to watch the 5 movies, and the Prime Wars Trilogy (CW, TR, POTP) on Youtube. We even went to a local Comicon with my son dressed up as Bumblebee. My wife eventually made me a G1-esque Prime costume. We are definitely watching Bumblebee the new movie. (We are now closely following Cyberverse.) This video shows you what I have so far. It is still arranged by the order I got them. Once I’ve taken videos of me trying to figure out all the transformations, I’ll group them more logically. #TFxM #TransformersXMusic
