All levels by SirHadoken: • Geometry Dash: SirHadoken All Insane Demons I've completed: • Geometry Dash: Insane Demons My original practice mode run & my best run after 20k attempts (93%): • Geometry Dash: "Updatophobia" by SirHadoke... Total Attempts: 27,250 Official Rating: Insane Demon This is a really cool and unique level from SirHadoken in which every game element that was added to the game after version 1.9 kills you. This means that all kinds of things that look like decorative background elements actually kill you if you touch them. As I always do for any Insane Demons I complete, I've included a slow-mo replay at the end. I think it's fun to see all of the details and nuances (and tight windows) at 50% speed, and it's always enjoyable to hear and see the sync in slow-mo as well. I'm the 8th person in the world to complete this level with the coin (or 9th if you count SirHadoken verifying it) and I may be the first person who has completed it with the swag route at the end - I couldn't find replays of anyone else doing this on YouTube. After 20k attempts I had only made it to the ending twice, and those times I died at 91% and 93%. After 25k attempts I think I had made it to the ending a total of only four or five times and I had only improved my best to 94%. But then something clicked and I finally got a little more consistent at 65%-75% and started giving myself chances at the ending more frequently - maybe once every 200-300 attempts instead of once every couple thousand. In fact, within my last 50 attempts I actually made it to the ending on my 15th attempt and died at 92% before going on to beat the level on my 47th attempt of the same session (the replay shown here). This is my 9th Insane Demon and probably my new hardest considering I took both the coin route and the swag route. My previous hardest was "Sonic Boom", also by SirHadoken and my attempt count on it was 26,593... which strangely is only 657 attempts less than I ended up needing to complete Updatophobia. Honestly, Sonic Boom probably took more hours to complete because it's a much longer level with more balanced difficulty throughout, which means that both practicing and attempting normal mode runs is generally more time consuming. For Updatophobia a lot of attempts were burned up very quickly practicing from 60%-80% over and over again so I was definitely racking up attempts at a much higher rate. But, I also have to consider that I beat Sonic Boom over a year ago and I'd like to think I've improved since then, so it seems fair to count this as my new hardest. :-D Beating Updatophobia with the coin also means I get to re-check off my goal of beating all of SirHadoken's levels with all coins. :-D 0:00 - Normal Speed Replay 1:16 - Slow Motion Replay
