Final Fantasy 7 best levelling spot : Fast AP, EXP and Gil farming location with Magic Pot explained

The best levelling (AP, EXP and Gil) farming / grinding location in Final Fantasy 7 is found on Disc 3, in the North Crator’s swamp section, by fighting the Magic Pot enemy. This farming method makes unlocking the ‘Liege of Leveling’ (Level 99 with one character) and ‘Coming Up All Nines’ (earn 999,999,999 Gil) Trophies much easier, as well as levelling your party for some of the most challenging fights in the game - such as the Battle Square and Weapon encounters. You can find Magic Pot by going left when the party splits in the North Crater, then taking the next right into the swamp area. Here you will encounter the Magic Pot enemy, who grants a high amount of AP and EXP, but can only be defeated once fed an Elixir. There are multiple things you can do to prepare for Magic Pot farming. First, make sure you have equipped double AP weapons. Cloud also has a Triple AP weapon, Apocalypse, found in the Ancient Forest dungeon. For double AP armour, go to the Bone Village and buy a Rune Armlet for each party member For Elixirs, you can get an unlimited number using the Great Glacier cave exploit or W-Item exploit. You can also buy EXP Plus Materia from the Gold Saucer if you have 2000 BP. This is useful They also sell Gil Plus Materia here, but with the mastering All method, it’s not required. Finally, for Gil farming, most shops sell All Materia. Selling a mastered ‘All’ Materia is worth 1.4m, which is the fastest way to make money. The ‘Coming Up All Nines’ requires almost 100m Gil to unlock, so take plenty with you. Now stick on a podcast, increase the speed to x3, and get farming! The only other enemy which will give you trouble here is Tonberry, but Knights of the Round will defeat it a single cast. Remember to swap out mastered materia regularly, especially All, which is quick to level up. Otherwise, the most useful Materia to level are HP Plus and MP Plus, Mime (mastering twice so your party has one each) as well as Final Attack, Phoenix and Knights of the Round for multiple casts. It is possible to run out of Materia space, so make a trip to a shop and sell the All Materia you have mastered.
