New cantilever put up at Columbia Ave RR Crossing! (12/10/22)

This video was at the Columbia Ave RR Crossing in Dumont NJ along the CSX river line. The process of this upgrade originally started back in 2021 and has had no progress from late January of 2021 to a few weeks ago. This was for two reasons, there is a court battle going on between CSX and Dumont over a broken sewer pipe here. Dumont thought CSX did it when they were digging to put in the signal bases. The other reason is that there is a guide wire in the way of were one of the gates would come down. The utility company is getting ready to move it. Although now it looks like the signals are pretty much ready to be put in action!
