The Tragically Hip - Victoria 2016

We hop on a ferry to go see the boys kick off their 2016 Canadian Tour. We take a tour of Philips Brewery, see the harbour and parliament. There was a car convention in town. With the city buzzing with excitement, we made our way to the arena, not knowing what to expect. A 26 song monster setlist, Gord debuting the shiny suits, an enthusiastic crowd all waited for us inside. I am SO glad we got our World Container fill on this night, Yer Not The Ocean, Rink, In View and Family Band all get played. The Hip were definitely getting back into the groove for this and had the feel of a loose warm up show. I love the way they are playing chunks of albums on this tour. Everybody was wearing their hearts on their sleeves this night. Also includes snippets of an interview I did regarding the Victoria show on GORD.FM here in Vancouver.
