Twin Ports Trans Day of Remembrance 2020

On Friday, November 20, 2020, community came together in the Twin Ports area (Duluth, MN & Superior, WI) to hold a virtual remembrance ceremony for Transgender Day of Remembrance. What is Transgender Day of Remembrance or TDOR? It's a day to memorialize and remember people from around the world who have been murdered as a result of transphobia. It is a day to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people, especially transgender women of color. Thank you to our community who made this event possible: Trans+ Friends, Family & Allies, UWS Gender Equity Resource Center, Together for Youth, Haven, Northland Allies, Duluth Superior Pride, Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth & Trans Plus -------------------------------------------------- Trans Plus is a community group in the Twin Ports that seeks to provide connection through community & resources to anyone who identifies as transgender or under the gender variant umbrella (including people who are Two Spirit, gender non-conforming, non-binary, agender, etc.).
