SPOILER ALERT • "Hurry Up Tomorrow" (2025) Movie Review by Prophet Blue Main Score: 5/5 Stars • Backup Score: 5/5 Stars • • Score Rating List • 5 Stars: Strongly Recommend 4 Stars: Saving Grace 3 Stars: Last Resort 0-2 Stars: Automatic 0 Stars • • My Notes • "Hurry Up Tomorrow" (2025) movie is a musical psychological suspense thriller horror movie that serves as a companion piece to the "Hurry Up Tomorrow" (2025) music album about Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye (playing a fictionalized version of himself), a musician plagued by insomnia and a breakup while facing his inner demons and losing his voice during a concert (inspired by his September 2022 Los Angeles performance) due to psychological stress as he is forced to face himself in the mirror as he finds his identity. Anima, a toxic narcissistic arsonist fan that holds him hostage after meeting him at a concert to help him, and Lee, his best friend/manager, serve as a representation of his mental breakdowns. I had a private screening, I was yelling at the screen, and it's a 4/5 Stars at best. I'm a young black prophet on my spiritual healing journey since 2022 after enduring spiritual warfare, mental breakdowns, etc that caused me to want to take my life as nowadays I'm working on myself, my brand, etc as a Celebrity Life Coach, Entertainer, etc so while I recognize Abel mostly by his voice from a couple of songs it was the rapper Dominique "Lil Baby" Jones that God/Spirit/Universe used to bring me back to life after losing myself, my job, etc which pushed me to find my identity as Prophet Blue by accepting myself as a public figure who is a motivational life coach/rapper/singer/etc, to grow in my spirituality as a chosen one, to want more out of life instead of being held hostage by the past/people/places, etc otherwise I don't think I would still be alive unless I got my way enough to hurt innocent bystanders so I could live my best life because my dreams matter and always taking without never reciprocating is just karma waiting to happen.
