When YooRa's passion for music, love for Tom Misch's "Movie", and recent experience of film school come together... - When YooRa (Founder, Artistic Producer) asked Carlo (Guitarist, Mix Engineer) back in August 2021 if he wanted to cover Tom Misch's song "Movie" with her, neither of them knew what it would become by the end of the year. What was supposed to be a two person cover of the song, turned into a full band cover with a music video production of 14 crew members. While recording the cover back in August, they realized YooRa's piano was out of tune to the point where Carlo could not "fix it in post". When she called her piano tech, he broke the news to her that his work will have to be a three month project. During this time, YooRa worked on multiple sets as unit manager and 1st AD, and through this experience, she fell in love with the process of filmmaking. One night while driving home after working on set, an idea for a music video came to her - and that's how this project came to be. She gathered 14 fellow VFS alumni and four of her bandmates that she's been playing music with since middle school. It felt like a miracle to make this video happen in such a short amount of time.
