This is a cover of Don Menza's "Groovin' Hard" as played by the Buddy Rich Big Band. The drumless track was taken from Gregg Potter's recording with the band in the Buddy Rich Hal-Leonard Drum Play-Along book. I first played this tune over 10 years ago for my high school jazz band audition in 9th grade, and is one of my all-time favorite jazz charts.
