Dame Cressida Dick confirms the Met Police will investigate a number of Downing St lockdown parties

The Met Police will investigate a number of lockdown parties held at No. 10, Cressida Dick has said. The Met Police Commissioner has told the London Assembly that her officers will investigate "a number of events" where Covid lockdown rules were allegedly broken. Dame Cressida refused to say which parties were being investigated, except that there were multiple events being looked at. She also said the Met would not provide a “running commentary” on the investigation.
