The 8th of Shawaal is international Baqi Day. This day is commemorated because the holy shrines housing the graves of the family of the prophet as well as the companions of the prophet were destroyed.  This documentary looks at the importance of Jannatul Baqi as well as the deliberate destruction of these holy shrines and the reasons behind this demolition which sent shock waves throughout the Muslim world.
