Valentine's Day Crafts With Paper - Fancy Hearts

A little colored paper and some fancy cutting will get you a few fun little paper heart Valentines that you can use as decorations, or as Valentine cards themselves. Simply make them a bit smaller, and glue them to a blank card for a simple, yet fun instant Valentine to give to someone special. The cutting techniques of these Valentines is based in part on the way paper snowflakes are made. Though instead of folding the hearts multiple times, I only folded them in half, so it's fairly easy to discern what they will look like before the opening. (Though I promise, the opening part is still fun!) If you want to spice them up a bit more, you could also use decorative edged shears.
