How to Make Strawberry Crunch Ice Cream Cake
Follow me on instagram: / meiasoquick Welcome back for another video. I'm MeiaSoQuick and in today's video I'll be showing you how to make this delicious strawberry crunch ice cream cake. Ingredients: Strawberry Crumble 1 stick of butter (room temperature) 3 oz vanilla pudding mix 3 oz straberry jellow mix 1 1/2 cup flour *Ice Cream - choose the flavor of your choice. For a recipe on how I made my homemade buttercream icing, watch this: • How to Make Buttercream Icing Directions: 1. Place ice cream in appropriate pan lined with foil or parchment paper. (May need to melt it first). Freeze for at least 6 hours. 2. Bake the cake layers. When done, let cool and wrap in plastic and freeze/chill. 3. Defrost cakes and prepare icing. (If using stor bought frosting from a tub, whip the icing for a few minutes). 4. Remove ice cream from the freezer and assemble the cake. 5. Once cake and ice cream are stack, apply a thin coat of icing around the entire cake. Place in freezer for 15 minutes. 6. Make strawberry crumble. (Mix all ingredients until sandy texture then flatten on a baking sheet and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Let cool, then crumble). 7. Remove cake from freezer, add final layer of icing. 8. Add crumble topping on the cake. 9. Optional - Add dollops of whip cream and strawberry garnish to the top of the cake.
