Marines From the Last CH-46 Deployment Return Home

Marines with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364 "Purple Foxes" returned from an eight-month deployment with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Hundreds of Marines from all over Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39 returned in dozens of aircraft. The homecoming marked a historic event ending the final deployment of CH-46E Sea Knights. The Sea Knight has been used by the Marine Corps for over 45 years and is now being phased out and replaced by the MV-22B Osprey.
