PINTEREST👉https://pin.it/ Khatri biryani Serve: 4-5 Recipe in urdu Ingredients: Recipe in English: Ingredients: -kainat Basmati Rice 500g -Water as required -Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tbs or to taste -Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1 -Tez patta (Bay leaves) 2 -Laung (Cloves) 3-4 -Lemon juice 1 tbs -Cooking oil 1 tbs -Pyaz (Onion) fried 1 Cup -Tamatar (Tomato) sliced 5 medium -Hari mirch (Green chillies paste ) 4tbs -Aalo bukhara (Dried plum) 4-5 -Imli (Tamarind ) 4 - 5 -Podina (Mint leaves) 1 Cup -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) ½ Cup -Garam masala powder 1 tbs -Lemon juice 1 tbs -Cooking oil 1/3 Cup -Pyaz brista (Onion brown) sliced 4 medium -Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 1 tsp -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp -Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2 -Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1 -Laung (Cloves) 3-4 -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2 -Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 2 -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs -Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1tbs -Namak (Salt) 2 tsp or to taste -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 2 tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 2 tsp -Garam masala powder 1 tsp -Water 2 Cups -Aalo (Potatoes) peeled & large cubes 2 medium -Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup Star nise, mace, cardamom powder 1tsp -Pela rang (yellow food color) ½ tsp -Kewra water 1 tbs -Cooking oil 1/3 cup Directions: -In a bowl,add basmati rice,water,wash thoroughly and soaked for 30 minutes then strain soaked rice & set aside. -In a pot,add water & bring it to boil. -Add salt,star anise,bay leaves,cloves,lemon juice,cooking oil & mix well. -Add soaked rice,mix well & boil until 3/4th done then strain & set aside. -In a bowl,fried onion,green chilies,mint leaves,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside. -In a pot,add curd, yellow food colour , Kewra water and mix it very well & set aside. -In a pot add beef and all spices -Add ginger garlic paste and mix well. -Add tomato, coriander powder,salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder & dry plum tamarind, cur mix well. -Add water & mix well. ,mix well & cook until soft (2-3 minutes).
