Josephine Peak is located in the San Gabriel Mountains in the Angeles National Forest and has an elevation of 5538 feet. Josephine Peak can be reached a few ways, but I chose to go up Colby Canyon Trail and then take the Strawberry Spur Trail to the Josephine Peak Road to the peak. I started the hike at 6:20am and it was warm, on the way down the trail was exposed and the weather was sunny with a temperature of 91 degrees. Colby Canyon Trail is also the trail up to take the mountaineer route to Strawberry Peak or continues to Strawberry Meadows. The hike clocked in at about 8.5 miles with just under 2200 feet of gain. #JosephinePeak #Peak #DayHike Equipment Used: Cameras: Sony a7S III Sony ZV-E10 Sony ZV 1 GoPro Hero 9 Mics: Deity Duo D4 Sony Digital Shotgun Microphone - ECM-B1M Lens: Sony FE 20mm f/1.8 G Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Sony 16-35mm f/4 OSS Sony 10-18 f/4 OSS Tripods: ULANZI MT-33 PGYTECH SnapLock Mini Reverse Ball Head Title Music: Miles Above You by Jesse Warren/Spektrem (Creative Commons) Music from Epidemic Sounds
