Helping Kids Cope with the COVID-19 Outbreak (Part 1): Dealing with Anxiety

With the #CORONAVIRUS situation still escalating, children in Hong Kong have had to adjust to being a stay-at-home kid with new daily routines. Don’t be surprised if your child reacts in different ways to this change; some might be anxious, with worries about catching the virus, or missing important classes and exams. Some children might feel sad or angry that they are not getting to see their friends, doing their favorite activities, or having scheduled special events cancelled. Others may be totally nonchalant, appearing content to be indoors for weeks. All these reactions are completely normal. You might have also experienced some of it yourself!
