Sigur Rós - Niður – U.C. Berkeley, Live, 4-8-17, 1st row, Greek Theatre. First night of two sold-out SF Bay Area shows. Other Tidbits: Heavy rain was forecast for the outdoor show, which seemed appropriate, considering it rained the last time the band played the Greek Theatre in 2008, and it rained when they played at last October's Treasure Island Festival in 2016. However, the rain stopped by the afternoon. It was still cold enough that we could often see Jonsi's breath as he sang.. For the VIP package, we got a portfolio of 3 screen prints signed by Jonsi, Orri and Georg. The prints appeared to be still images of the video backgrounds used for the performances of Sæglópur, Ný Batterí and Vaka.
